there are many directors present all over the world who direct incredible works, who create movies and other visual media products that make me fall in love with the, and some leave behind a legacy of their own. they become people who you can look up to, respect and learn from their styles of creation.
the man who created the legacy of his own, Akira Kurosawa is one of the directors I look up. his work has inspired many across the world. he has changed the view towards filmmaking completely for a majority of great filmmakers and directors find his work extremely inspiring. the film seven samurai's cinematography is moving in itself. his cinematography has changed my views massively towards filmmaking.
another of my favourite directors is Bong Joon-ho. he has created great films that never seem to surprise me. he has also directed may international films, that are really one of my favorite kind of films. he has directed and created English language films such as snowpiercer and also directed Korean language films such as parasite and The Host. he has also used foreign cast and crew and well as national in few of his films, one of them being okja, being one of my favourites. being
being an Indian myself, I have seen a great number of great Bollywood films, and few of my and the nations favourite films are directed by Rajkumar Hirani. I was six years old when I saw the film '3 idiots' and I'm not exaggerating that I saw it 3 times in the cinemas. I can't count on my fingers, the number of times I have the movie. his other movie PK also is a great film in its self, on also reflects on present social issues, interestingly portrayed through an aliens perspective.
