script?

Writer's picture: Tanya.Tanya.

what is a script?

  • by definition, it is a written interpretation of the narrative constructed from the treatment of Dialogues Action.

this is the first time we would be creating an actual script following the script rules, which include, sluglines, scene headings, sub-heading, action, character, dialogue, etc... as this is the first time we would be creating a script we decided to create 2 versions of it, draft 1 and draft 2. after discussing the sequence of our scenes and about whether we wanted to add a voiceover, we together came up with the basic idea and then decided to divide up the work.

Svea would create the rough first draft without the voiceover and I would create the second draft and write the voiceover. the second draft would give us a much clear idea on how to narrow down the story from the first draft as our opening sequence cannot be very long. the second draft would also include the voiceover and how we would place the voice over and edit our opening sequence.
