in my last blog i discussed the two different types of research- PRIMARY AND SECONDARY.
for our opening sequence, svea and i decided together on the research methods we will be using and will be conducting it together, to find enough data for the production, marketing and audience of our opening sequence.
as for primary research we,
we firstly decided to go for an online survey. an online survey can be filled out within less than a minute and is more economical too. as most people these days find it easier to do things digitally it becomes more clear that they would prefer doing it digitally than doing it on paper.(its also eco-friendly!)
we also contemplated on creating a focus group. we can create a focus group which includes people who work and have experience in the psychological field and also people who have faced trauma in their childhood or have/had a mental disorder.
we also decided to conduct two interviews, one on a counsellor who works in a high school and has seen many cases of students going through anxiety and also one on a person who has either experienced traumas as a child or faced anxiety in their teenage years.
interviews with help us with collecting qualitative data and most responses are genrally correct.
as for secondary research,
we plan to do a lot of internet research and use resources and data that can help us with anything related to anxiety and child abuse. by using television as a research method, we also are looking forward to analysing works or other people who have media works in the same and similar genre. we even plan on analysing other peoples and movie's opening sequences which can give us inspiration for our own.
