During the past few days me and Svea (my team-mate) have been thinking about what we want to express through this opening sequence, artistically. Not only aesthetics wise but also wanting to create a much deeper impact on our audience.
I want to make sure that our opening sequence stands out in terms of sound and aesthetics, although its our first time doing so. Although our opening sequence is about mental health and child abuse, it seemed very empty, we want to add a more creative angle to the storyline of the opening sequence, and have having currently been brainstorming about one.

By using interesting symmetry patterns and playing with the focus, I want to create something that will appeal to the eyes and also follow the technique. I also plan on using extreme close up shots to bring out the emotions of the main actor very clearly, also using eye level shots and point of view shots that makes one feel as if they are present in the situation.
I also want to create a certain colour palette for the protagonist, that suits his/her personality and aura, giving the character more depth. By using contrasting sounds to the scene I want to create a greater impact on the audience.
For the benefit of this project I decided to buy a new camera, to have higher quality shots and using better lenses to improve the quality of the shots which will help enhance the quality of the opening sequence.
